I have moved to the Orkney Islands with my wife and three kids , and the dog. This is an up to date account of my goings on mainly in picture form. I focus on wildlife and the changing seasons.

a few bits from january
ok its a bad photo but it is the first water rail in my garden so it is going on .
A very misty morning but very atmospheric i thought
a slow start this year but not through lack of trying very weird mild weather has made nature not as usually confiding as you would imagine for this time of year .....
