Tame Tufted

Another saturday comes so me and my two boys Finlay and Henry go down to the river to feed the ducks, walk the dog and pick up some sweeties. For the most part we have only come across mallard but this saturday i was happily surprised to find a tufted duck who was just as tame as the mallard even coming out on the bank to feed.

More and more regulars now and this little Coal tit will happily feed right in front of me will have some more shots soon , just all those waxwings are keeping me busy !!!!!!!!!!!

Waxwings i know another post but these were a little closer and on my own street . On the photo above you can see the colour rings used to discover where they have been and how old they are amongst many other facts.

These little beauties are hitting the country everywhere and so far have seen but not got nice views, untill i found a flock of about a hundred in my village ..........brilliant .
