Had a day out with Ben and our newest compadre matt, we wanted to show matt some waders up close and although early in the year we still had some success so here are the days snaps with one of my favourite waders!
These Turnstones were found at Ness Point. Will hopefully be back there for some Purple Sandpipers later in the year.
My second Red Backed Shrike of the year and what a stonker!
And here he is a Redshank , one of my favourites.
And a very tame Black Headed Gull .
Super images Adam, especially the Redshanks. Must of been a very confiding bird to get such good close up shots, or have you cropped the images more than normal?
