Norfolk Day

Had a day out with Ben and our newest compadre matt, we wanted to show matt some waders up close and although early in the year we still had some success so here are the days snaps with one of my favourite waders!

These Turnstones were found at Ness Point. Will hopefully be back there for some Purple Sandpipers later in the year.

My second Red Backed Shrike of the year and what a stonker!

And here he is a Redshank , one of my favourites.

And a very tame Black Headed Gull .

more from the last month including a life tick!!!

A tick is a bird i have not seen before in this case a red backed shrike , a stunning female in bedfordshire not far from where i live.

long time no see!!!!

After not posting for what seems a year i am back , have been moving house and hope over the net few years to use my new garden as a bit of a nature reserve and bring you the news of what goes on there. but first i am going to put a few pics up from the last couple of months .
