so our move to the Orkney islands is going ahead . Its has been an emotional decision and for someone who does not get emotional it has been hard but we are looking forward to the adventure . in the mean time work goes on and over the past few days i have been taking photos for a client of some of his cockatoo.

I have moved to the Orkney Islands with my wife and three kids , and the dog. This is an up to date account of my goings on mainly in picture form. I focus on wildlife and the changing seasons. Thanks for looking and come back soon.

Sanday
I thought i would share a few pictures of Sanday Island in the Orkneys. It is one of the Northern most islands and is a low lying piece of land with lots of sandy beaches from where it gets its name.

Foxy
Tried something different on the London foxes with a wide angle lens . I had to stand back and use an infra red button but i like the effect it gives. This was a grown on fox cub and had started to get used to people leaving food out for him. By the second time i had gone back he had gone obviously grown up and was not as needy to people .
